"Just the other day I saw your book on the Hands and can hardly put it down. Not only is it well-written but it is a delightful contribution on two levels. One is for those of us who knew some of those dear souls it is a fragrant reminiscence. For generations yet unborn it is an intimate glimpse into the lives of that remarkable cadre who selflessly saved the world from extinction, bridging, untarnished, sources of infallibility to the body of mankind…Again many thanks for this wonderful contribution to the Bahá’ís...” John Kolstoe, popular Baha’i author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR The author had the good fortune of working for two major world airlines which provided him with discounted and free plane tickets enabling him to attend Bahá'í events throughout the world during this wonderful period. The book includes gems from the mine of remembered times with the Hands. The lessons learned from the Hands of the Cause during those years provided him with valuable knowledge for teaching the Faith. The Unforgettable Hands of the Cause Times with the Hands edition by Michael Woodward Religion Spirituality eBooks
Mostly of interest for people interested in the Baha'i Faith, and their friends and well-wishers. For a few brief decades a handful of individuals were appointed to assist the Baha'i communities all over the world. Their title was "the Hands of the Cause". Now that they have all passed into the Kingdom of Light (afterlife/heaven), there will never be any more. They were truly unique in every way. Far from being proud of this title, they were some of the most humble, endearing, supportive, and encouraging people ever. This book consists of very informal, diary-like entries of the author's personal experiences meeting several of them over a period of years. There are a couple of ways this book could be useful. For future historians looking into this faith, these informal sources can offer insights into the impact of these few individuals on an evolving world religion. For the rest of us, it is such a joy to experience these lovely, kind, cherished people once again. For both groups, there are some real gems consisting of the letters written to the author's family during a very dark time in their lives. Mr. Faizi makes it emphatically clear that God is primarily the Loving and the Most Merciful. That, for example, a failure to perform some beneficial task would never, ever cause harm to befall one's family. This is a lovely book, and I recommend it.Product details

The Unforgettable Hands of the Cause Times with the Hands edition by Michael Woodward Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Wonderful stories with a personal touch.
Did not want this book to end! Read stories in here that I had not read before in other books.
This is a great small book about these heroes of the Baha'i Faith.
This overview of an era in the evolution of the Baha'i Faith, is full of personal experiences and uplifting, memorable moments....that somehow DO make one feel the powerful, spiritual influence, wisdom, humor, and presence of the Hands of the Cause! I consider these words to be a "gift" for someone who was not able to meet the Hands of the Cause during their lifetimes!
This is not a book you read from cover to cover. It is more of a book where you pick a Hand of the Cause and read about them. But the common theme is love of Baha'u'llah, The Baha'i Faith, service and love for all mankind. Great read.
Captured the sweet humilIty and deeply spiritual power of the informal friendship some of the friends encountered with the Hands in their travels. Including some quotes from their talks would have would have added to my engagement in this lovely book.
An insightful, easy to read book. The author tells about his personal experiences with Hands of the Cause of God.
Hands that the author did not meet are not discussed.
